ASHLEY HARTLEY

Ashley Hartley has taught Jazz, Ballet and HipHop since 2005. She has enjoyed dancing since the age of 13 and particularly loves Ballet, Jazz, Modern and HipHop. Ashley has danced with the Elite Dancers for two years and toured in Europe during Summer 2008. As a teenager, she participated with other local competition dance teams, including the Fusion College Dance Team, which won first place at National competitions in 2007. In addition to juggling work, dance classes, Elite rehearsals, and church, Ashley is also a student at California State University Fresno, where she is earning a kinesiology and exercise science degree with a minor in deaf studies.

Andiee Hodges

 

Andiee teaches HipHop, Jazz, Tap and Pep/Cheer at The Dance Studio of Fresno and she is a Director of our Mini and Junior Pep/Cheer Teams. She has studied gymnastics, jazz, ballet, tap and hiphop since 1980. Andiee has taught throughout Fresno, Oakhurst, Tulare, and Visalia since 1988. Career highlights include:

Choreography awards include Best Choreography, Most Original, and Most Entertaining at Company Dance, Star Bound, and KAR.

Pep/Cheer Teams placed second and third at JAMZ, Las Vegas 2003.

Scholarships to the Summer Program at The Edge in Los Angeles.

Performed throughout California and most notably at Disneyland.

Stacy Johnson-Cook


Stacy began training in 1979 and studied Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Gymnastics at The Dance Studio of Fresno. Since then, she served as a song leading instructor for five years with the United Spirit Association; danced with the Fresno Jazz Company, and was a member of the 49er Gold Rush Cheerleaders. Stacy has coached and choreographed for various high school and college Pep/Cheer programs, including Buchanan, Fresno City College and San Joaquin Memorial. She is a graduate of California State University Fresno with a Bachelors Degree in Health Science with an emphasis in Community Health. Stacy currently teaches Pep/Cheer and Jazz at The Dance Studio of Fresno.

Cynthia Jones

 

Cynthia began taking dance classes when she was 8 years old. She has studied tap, ballet, jazz and tumbling. She continues taking adult classes at The Dance Studio of Fresno, and teaches Play Groups, Power Play, Toddler, Jazz/Gym, and Tap/Ballet to children ranging in age from 6 months to 6 years.

Career highlights include:

Teacher at The Dance Studio of Fresno (1996 to present). Graduated from San Diego State with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business with an emphasis in Marketing (1989). Joined the Elite Dance Team in 1982 and participated in numerous dance competitions in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.  During high school years, taught dance in Fresno, Clovis, and Kingsburg, California.

In addition to taking and teaching a variety of dance classes each week, Cynthia enjoys spending time with her family. Married since 1994, she and her husband have three children: Cassidy (7 years old), Nicole (4 years old) and Miranda (2 years old). She also enjoys scrapbooking activies and shopping.

Keri Machado

 

Keri teaches Jazz and is the Director of the Teen Elite Dance Team at The Dance Studio of Fresno. She has studied classical Ballet, Jazz, Modern Jazz, Tap,and HipHop for the past 14 years, and has taught dance for nine years.

As a performer, Keri was a member of the Elite Dance Team, danced in "America Sings", "Legends", and the Miss California Pageant. She also danced at the Jazz World Congress in Arizona.

In addition to her classes at The Dance Studio of Fresno, Keri also teaches dance at the Kings Dance Center in Hanford, CA. She holds a B.A. in Psychology, and is currently working on her Masters of Science at the School of Psychology at California State University Fresno.

Bunni

Bunni Magison teaches Ballroom, which includes West/East Coast Swing, Salsa, ChaCha, Tango, Waltz, and others. She has studied dance with several distinguished ballroom dance champions, including Ron Montez, Teresa Shiry, Chris Morris, Tom Slater, Anna Christine, and Marianne Nicole; and began teaching in 1985. She is a graduate of Drexel University of Philadelphia with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Design. Her creative flair has led her to work as an interior designer, graphic artist, costume designer and choreographer. Come join the fun with Bunni and her students on the dance floor.

Diane Rustigan-Muller

 

Diane started dancing as a small child in 1976, and during her youth became an Assistant Dance Instructor at Beverly Hills High School, as well as Head Pep/Cheer Coach. She has danced in a variety of Southern California venues, including the Anniversary Performance of the Quantum Leap television show, and the production party for The Simpsons 100th episode. Diane has choreographed various fashion shows in the Los Angeles area, as well as an MTV video for singer Criselda Volks. Diane joined our teaching staff the The Dance Studio of Fresno in 2004 and teaches a variety of children’s combination classes.

Erin

Erin has studied a variety dance styles since the age of 3 currently teaches Jazz, HipHop, Pre-Ballet, and Childrens Combination Classes at The Dance Studio of Fresno. She has been a member of the Elite Dance Teams for 6 years and has taken master classes with Mia Michaels, Tyce DiOrio, Brian Freedman, Barry Youngblood, Mark Goodman, Gina Starbuck, and Chebar Williams. She has also trained extensively with Martha Kelly-Fierro and Sue Sampson-Dalena. Erin is also attending California State University at Fresno, studying mass communications and journalism.
